On Friday, we embarked on our first and most epic adventure, starting with a thrilling hike on the panoramic trails of Mount Arbel. The breathtaking views were just the beginning of an incredible day. Our journey continued with a visit to Chof Kinnar , an all-men’s kosher beach where we enjoyed the refreshing waves of the Kinneret. Next, we made a stop at the one and only Dabbach, where everyone had the chance to pick up essentials like shampoo and snacks. We wrapped up the day by heading back just in time for Shabbos.

YKTH 5783 - Mivtzah "Jump" Mexican Style Event!

For the grand finale of the summer's Mivtzah Jump event, the bochurim who successfully completed the Mivtzah were in for a festive Mexican-style event. The zal was transformed into a vibrant fiesta, adorned with colorful papel picado banners, sombreros, and lively music filling the air.

As the evening unfolded, the tantalizing aroma of authentic Mexican cuisine wafted through the air. A mouthwatering buffet featured an array of delicious dishes, including savory tacos with a variety of fillings, flavorful enchiladas, zesty guacamole, and sizzling fajitas made by our in house chef. The culinary adventure didn't stop there – dessert stations on the roof offered sweet treats like ice cream, brownies, ensuring a satisfying and indulgent experience for all featuring a piñata to finish it off with a bang.

The event not only served as a delicious feast for the senses but also fostered a sense of camaraderie and accomplishment among the bochurim. As they savored the flavors of the evening and reveled in the vibrant atmosphere, the final Mivtzah Jump event became a memorable and fitting conclusion to a summer filled with dedication and the bochurim were also gifted with mivtzah jump hat boxes!

YKTH 5783 - Krav Maga, Laser Tag & Safrus!

There aren't many regular days in YKTH and this day was no different! After Girsah, the Buchurim had the opportunity to learn Krav Maga from former Shayetet 13 (Israeli Navy Seals) members. They were pushed to their limits! The Bochurim also got to enjoy tactical laser tagging throughout our beautiful outdoor and indoor campus. The day ended with a special presentation in the Otzar HaStam Tzfat, where we learned all about the process of writing a Sefer Torah, Mezuzos and Tefillin. We then had a chance to write our own names on Klaf with instructions from the local Sofer. Dedicated to the safety of the yidden in Eretz Yisrael

On the second to last Friday of the summer, the Talmidim loaded onto the buses for an action-packed trip to Tveriah. Beginning with an incredible hike on Mount Arbel, they got to gaze into the breathtaking lookout atop the mountain, with the Galil visible, including Tzfas, Tveriah, and the Kineret, the slopes of the Golan Heights truly made it "picture-perfect".
After such a thrilling and jaw dropping hike in the famous Tveriah heat, the Bochurim were treated to an awesome swim in the Kinneret.
But before we could call it the end of this incredible trip and prepare for the last Shabbos in Tzfas, we stopped at the Kever of the Rambam in Tveriah. We had a chance to Daven and learn a Perek Rambam, an incredible opportunity to fulfill the directive of the Rebbe.
